It's that time of year; Christmas is here and it wouldn't be Christmas without Wilf wearing two pairs of antlers and dancing. My Geek Box arrived today which was a nice surprise when I got home from work.
This month, the theme for My Geek Box is Geekmas and it is a very merry one with my early present; unlike Loot Crate, you are given no clue what will be in each month's box apart from the theme so it could be anything.
One fantastic point about My Geek Box is that you are guaranteed to get a T-shirt and I really love this one because I love The Nightmare Before Christmas and have done for years. I loved the design of this shirt, a candy skull version of Jack, because it's wonderfully imaginative.
The Death Star juggling balls were like a random stocking present you would get at Christmas, or they would be in my house, because they are so random yet completely wonderful and simple. It's a great new toy and even though I'm struggling, I am now trying to learn how to juggle because it seems like a fun, yet difficult skill to learn.
Love this Star Wars keyring I do. Yoda is one of my favourite characters from Star Wars and even though this keyring makes a really weird noise when you squeeze it, I think it's quite sweet really and very festive so I may turn it into a bauble for the Christmas tree next year to make my tree geekier though he is now on my rucksack for the time being.
You can never have too many bottle openers, or at least you can't in my family, and I am pleased that My Geek Box gave us subscribers a Pac-man fridge magnet bottle opener. I love Pac-man and though his mouth isn't the opener, it's on the back, he is a great addition to my fridge and kitchen because he's so handy.
Christmas is a stressful time of year for some people, we could have family issues or money issues, and what better way than to relieve the stress than squeezing the life out of Optimus Prime (apparently). I've actually lent this to my mum because she keeps getting stressed out at work, though I don't know if it's working.
It wouldn't be Christmas in the UK without a Cadbury Selection Box in many people's opinion and my family loved it when I popped this downstairs because I am not one for Cadbury chocolate - you can call me picky if you want - but they thoroughly enjoyed it because it was gone within hours of me leaving it down there.
This month's box is full of great stocking fillers that were completely random yet a wonderful surprise. This is what I love about My Geek Box and Loot Crate because it's always random yet there's always something that I adore and this time it was the Star Wars items as well as the T-shirt so it was definitely worth my money. MERRY GEEKMAS FROM THE BIBLIOPHILE/FILM ADDICT!
Next month's My Geek Box theme is Justice!
